Problem -
Most rice cookers are not very aesthetically pleasing and are put away after each use. From awkward removal of the cooking bowl when it is hot to power cords that are too long current rice cookers have many issues that Bamboo aims to resolve.
The goal of Bamboo is to streamline both the cooking and serving process by optimizing as many functions as possible. Featuring an elegant design that adds to the overall feel of any kitchen.
Origins | Inspiration -
The electric rice cooker originated in Japan in 1945 and was a huge success. The design language of Bamboo takes inspiration from the origin of the rice cooker and classic minimal Japanese design.

Convenience
The most unique feature of Bamboo is the kettle-like base that allows you to take the insulated cooking portion with you to the table or dinner party.
You can serve straight from the main body, keeping the contents warmer and allowing you to avoid removing the hot cooking bowl.
Controls
The user-interface for Bamboo was designed to be as simple and effective as possible, all while preserving the clean minimal design that Bamboo strives for. On current rice cookers, the control panel is front and center on the side of the cooker and have a cheap plastic finish.
By Integrating the control panel into the body with touch-sensitive controls, the form is uninterrupted. The controls are barely visible when they are not in use, taking Bamboo even further away from a traditional kitchen appliance appearance.
